Introduction aux enjeux disciplinaires contemporains mettant l\u2019emphase sur l\u2019histoire des relations entre les pratiques du projet et les discours th\u00e9oriques en architecture.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Comparaison des dimensions critiques et op\u00e9ratoires des th\u00e9ories du projet architectural.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ce cours s\u2019inscrit en compl\u00e9ment et en prolongement des cours d\u2019introduction \u00e0 l\u2019histoire de l\u2019architecture et d\u2019histoire de l\u2019architecture moderne. Bien que les \u00e9tudiants suivant le cursus normal du baccalaur\u00e9at aient d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9s \u00e0 diverses notions th\u00e9oriques dans les ateliers d\u2019architecture, ces invitations \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir \u00e9taient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement soumises aux al\u00e9as et aux imp\u00e9ratifs de la conception et de la th\u00e9matique du projet \u00e0 \u00e9laborer, la th\u00e9orie pouvant appara\u00eetre comme une sorte de compl\u00e9ment discursif au projet, comme une \u00ab\u00a0explication\u00a0\u00bb ou une \u00ab\u00a0justification\u00a0\u00bb du projet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Il sera cette fois question de proposer une approche \u00e0 la fois th\u00e9orique et r\u00e9flexive permettant de distinguer ce qui rel\u00e8ve d\u2019une pratique du projet, de ce qui constitue une v\u00e9ritable \u00ab\u00a0pens\u00e9e du projet\u00a0\u00bb propice \u00e0 la th\u00e9orisation. Nous aborderons les th\u00e9ories dans leur diversit\u00e9, sans a priori doctrinal, mais nous ne consid\u00e8rerons pas la th\u00e9orie comme un simple r\u00e9servoir de doctrines ou d\u2019id\u00e9es directement applicables dans un projet. Il ne sera pas non plus question d\u2019esquiver la dimension op\u00e9ratoire de certains grands concepts en architecture, mais la d\u00e9finition m\u00eame de concept ou de principe architectural devra pour cela faire r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement l\u2019objet d\u2019interrogation et de critique.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
