{:fr}L’architecture occupe un rôle primordial dans l’éducation des plus jeunes. Par exemple, la configuration spatiale d’une salle de classe peut influencer fortement la diversité des approches pédagogiques. Des thèmes qui furent abordés lors de cette table ronde réunissant les équipes des 5 concours organisés par LabÉcole. {:}{:en}Architecture plays an important role in the education of young people. For example, the spatial configuration of a classroom can strongly influence the diversity of educational approaches. These themes were discussed during this round table with the teams of the 5 competitions organized by LabÉcole.{:}

{:fr}[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Sur les thèmes de la classe, de l’espace de rassemblement et de la relation au contexte, 3 vidéos de la CRC-ACME mettent en débat des équipes des 5 concours organisés par LabÉcole pour de nouvelles écoles primaires au Québec. Réalisé par la Chaire de recherche du Canada en architecture, concours et médiations de l’excellence, cet ensemble de 3 vidéos présente des extraits des 3 tables rondes enregistrées en janvier et février 2021 avec des équipes de conception des projets soumis aux 5 concours organisés par le Lab-École. Ces projets lauréats, finalistes ou soumis en première phase des concours pour les sites de Saguenay, Shefford, Maskinongé, Rimouski et Gatineau en 2020 furent présentés dans l’exposition Devoirs d’architecture au Centre de design de l’UQAM de septembre 2020 à février 2021. La pandémie n’ayant pas permis au grand public de découvrir ces 160 projets pour de nouvelles écoles primaires au Québec ces débats permettent de prendre la mesure de la richesse des propositions. teams from the 5 competitions organized by LabÉcole for new elementary schools in Quebec. Produced by the Canada Research Chair in Architecture, Competitions and Mediations of Excellence, this set of 3 videos presents excerpts from 3 roundtables recorded in January and February 2021 with design teams of the projects submitted to the 5 competitions organized by Lab-École. These winning projects, finalists or submitted in the first phase of the competitions for the sites of Saguenay, Shefford, Maskinongé, Rimouski and Gatineau in 2020 were presented in the exhibition Devoirs d’architecture at the Centre de design de l’UQAM from September 2020 to February 2021.
